More About Ifill

Additional Information

Detective Ifill retired from the NYPD with a stellar record. Throughout his career, he successfully worked and collaborated with various law enforcement personnel at the local, state, and federal levels in numerous criminal investigations, which led to several media coverages. He was also instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of such cases by providing necessary testimonies under oath at innumerable hearings, Grand Jury gatherings, and trials. Though Detective Ifill was very efficient and effective in executing his duties during his entire career, he never once discharged his firearm—a fact that exemplified his outstanding track record of demonstrated discipline and his ability to address crises from a position of strength and restraint.

Prior to joining the New York Police Department (NYPD), Detective Ifill served as a Corporal in the Marines Corps of the United States Military and completed coursework at Kings Borough Community College. Detective Ifill is astute, perceptive, professional, detail-oriented, personable, and a team player. He served the Sheepshead Bay or the Brooklyn community at large for decades and maintained a relationship of mutual respect and understanding with the community. To help build community rapport and awareness, detective Ifill spoke at several community events on identity theft and other related topics. Two of his main goals as an officer of law enforcement were to ensure the safety of the community and to pursue justice on victims’ behalves, irrespective of presented challenges.

Though retired, Detective Ifill has no plans on slowing down in any respect, particularly in relation to the pursuit of security and justice on behalf of communities. To accommodate this continued passion, he has acquired a New York State Private Investigator license and is Chief Executive Officer of Ifill & Associates, LLC—a corporation that he established in 2019. As an entrepreneur, Detective Ifill will collaborate with a team of active and retired law enforcement personnel to continue securing communities, specifically globally, and pursuing justice on their behalves.
